Generation Y

This is the time, the place, the new age.
A new era, new verse, new page.
We understand it and that's all that matters.
We never listen to the grown-ups chatter.
We dont want attention, this is just how we are.
All we want is freedom, someone to raise the bar.
You might not know our language but we sure know yours.
All of the lectures is why we slam doors.
We may seem like we're not listening, but we hear what you say.
The fact is, you never shut-up through the day.
If you let us talk, we'll open up to you.
The sad reality is...you never really do.
